For the good tomorrow
A poem from this spring that I forgot to post.
Maybe we're all fishes
In the reefs of political unity.
Can't swim, but if the community wishes,
I go with the community.
Recently things feel scattered,
And colder with every hour.
So I shed what once mattered
And aim for the greater power.
I emerge at the last frontier,
Take me whole, hate me or love me,
But I won't drop a single tear
For the ones that dream they're above me.
Us alone define what our must is,
We're unfit for the rules of normality.
Believe not in the crowd's justice,
Spill blood for your true morality.
Here I am, I will pave my route
Through today with its pain and sorrow.
There's nothing that can put out
All my trust in the good tomorrow.
Maybe we're all fishes
In the reefs of political unity.
Can't swim, but if the community wishes,
I go with the community.
Recently things feel scattered,
And colder with every hour.
So I shed what once mattered
And aim for the greater power.
I emerge at the last frontier,
Take me whole, hate me or love me,
But I won't drop a single tear
For the ones that dream they're above me.
Us alone define what our must is,
We're unfit for the rules of normality.
Believe not in the crowd's justice,
Spill blood for your true morality.
Here I am, I will pave my route
Through today with its pain and sorrow.
There's nothing that can put out
All my trust in the good tomorrow.
